Our team comprises of experts who have a combined experience of over 150 years in technical and management consultancy services executed for various Private Sector Companies, Public Sector Companies, Government Organisations/ Departments, Banks (both public sector and private sector), Financial Institutions and NBFCs. The Team is a mix of permanent employees on pay-roll of SCPL and free-lancers working on project basis with the Company. The Team is a fine blend of engineers, certified asset valuers, architects, market research experts, financial analysts, contract specialist, architects and bankers to name a few.

Krishna Mohan Misra (Chairman)

Mr. Misra is a Mechanical Engineering from Madan Mohan Malviya Regional Engineering College and has retired as Chief Engineer from Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department. He has sound knowledge in design, working, planning and implementation of mega size projects. During his service with the UP Irrigation department, he has worked on various prestigious projects like Medium Size Hydro Power Project at Dak-pathar (now in Uttakhand), construction of Kalagarh Dam Reservoir, Modernisation and Development of Upper Ganga Canal and construction of Dam on River Saryu to name a few. He also has vast experience of working on projects funded by World Bank and Asian Development Bank.

He brings along with himself 40 years of vast experience in handling of Government Assignment both in rural and urban set-ups in India. His has been instrumental in conceptualisation of SCPL and his inputs are source of constant development and growth of SCPL as a Company.

Vatsal Misra (Director)

Mr. Vatsal Misra is the Promoter Director of Secant Consultants Private Limited and Variate Consultants Private Limited. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering with specialisation in telecommunication and optical fibre communication; subsequently he has acquired Masters’ degree in Management Studies with specialisation in Finance from University of Mumbai. He has over 21 years of consultancy experience and has previously worked with Mott MacDonald Group, a reputed engineering, management and development consultancy firm in its Management Consultancy Division and as Assistant Vice President (Investment Banking) with Sumedha Fiscal Services Limited. During his stay with these reputed consultancy firms he has work on variety of consultancy assignments covering technical, management, development, corporate and financial consultancy.

Over the years, Mr. Misra had the opportunity to work on assignments across various sectors like oil and gas, iron and steel, mines and metals (non-ferrous), power, infrastructure (road, bridges, telecom), chemical and petrochemicals, textile (manmade and natural), engineering, cement, downstream petrochemicals and hospitality. He has executed over 1000 advisory assignments and has worked for reputed clients like GAIL, HPCL, Vedanta Resources, Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited, JSW, Essar Steel, GTL Infrastructure Limited and Kinetic Motors to name a few.

Anand Meshram (Director)

Mr. Meshram is an Electronics Engineer from North Maharashtra University. He has previously worked with Kalyani Group across their various Group Companies and additionally has worked (on project basis) for organisations like VSNL, GTL Infrastructure Limited, HBL Systems and Xcel Telecom Limited. He has gained over 21 years of experience in selling of industrial products, industrial services and has hands on experience in engineering and design of Wind Power and Solar Power Projects, PLC Systems, Instrumentation Systems, Fire-Fighting Systems for industrial and commercial application.

His last assignment with Kalyani Group was as Head-Projects, where he was responsible for getting the leads, converting the same, overseeing the engineering and design works and subsequently supervising the implementation of the Projects till successful hand-over to the Client organisation. He is Director of SCPL and is also CEO of Variate Consultants Private Limited (Group Company of SCPL).

Amit Patil (Senior Project Manager)

Mr. Patil has completed his Mechanical Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai and subsequently went on to complete his Masters in Management Studies (Finance) from University of Mumbai. He has over 10 years of experience in consulting/ advisory domain and has previously worked with reputed organisations like Mott MacDonald Group, Allbank Finance Limited and D&B Tangram. He has experience across various sectors including infrastructure (road, bridges etc.), power projects (renewable/ non-renewable), textile, plastics, chemical and petrochemicals to name a few.

He has been working with SCPL for almost a year now and he been instrumental in undertaking technical assessment for appraisal, technical due diligence and lenders engineering segment. Since his joining with SCPL, he has worked on around 150 projects in advisory.

Amit Pandey (Project Manager)

Mr. Pandey is a Mechanical Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the consulting and advisory industry. Over the years, Mr. Pandey has worked on advisory and consulting assignments ranging from iron and steel industry, real estate industry, renewable and non-renewable power, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, textile (manmade and natural) to name a few. He has been instrumental in undertaking technical due diligence, techno-economic viability, lenders independent engineering, market assessment and demand modelling to name a few. In total, Mr. Pandey has worked on over 200 advisory and consulting assignments.

Vipul Sonkar (Project Analyst)

Mr. Sonkar is a Mechnical Engineer from Babu Banarsi Das Institutes of Technology and Management, Lucknow. Post completion of his graduation, he joined a copper wire harness manufacturing unit, manufacturing wire harnesses for automobile manufacturers, at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan. He worked with the organisation for over 2 years, learning the skills imparted by the shop floor of actual manufacturing unit. Subsequently, he return to his alma mater, to pursue his MBA with dual specialisation in Marketing and HR. He has recently joined SCPL and during his short stay has already worked on projects spanning across textile sector, small hydro power sector and FMCG sector.

His forte is review and analysis of technology utilised for setting up the project, along with secondary and primary market assessment and building demand models.

Ms. Abhiruchi (Project Analyst)

Ms. Abhiruchi is an Electronics Engineer from Indraprasth Engineering College, Adbul Kalam Technical University, UP. Post completion of her graduation, she worked in area of data mining and analysis with a reputed firm for 2 years. Subsequently, she completed her PGD in Banking and joined ICICI Bank, in Banking Operations. She had been handling banking operations including the personal and MSME credit. She has hands on experience in handling bulk data, analysing and interpreting, preparation of report for internal and external usage and credit appraisal.

Associates

In addition to the above mentioned core team members, Secant Consultants have on board with itself other experts from the fields of market research, technical research, asset valuation, architecture, banking and investment banking. These experts will be working along with the team from Secant Consultants on project to projects basis.

Anil Kumar Modi

Mr. Modi is an electrical engineer and has post graduate diploma in business management. Subsequently he became a chartered engineer, an approved valuer and a licensed surveyor and loss assessor.

His area of expertise is textile and has vast national and international experience across various textile sub sectors like natural fabric and fibre, manmade fabric and fibre, processing of natural and manmade fabrics, spinning-weaving and knitting technology, loom operations, textile design etc. He has served as Chief Engineer in various large textile groups and mills like Raghuvanshi Mills Limited, Hindustan Spinning and Weaving Mills Limited, Afpring Nigeria PLC, Lucky Fibres Nigeria PLC. Subsequently, Mr. Modi started his own consultancy services like project management, fixed asset valuation, technical restructuring etc.

KD Fatnani

Mr. Fatnani is a chemical engineering from IIT Mumbai and has recently retired as Divisional Director (Industrial Engineering Division) of Mott MacDonald, a department he headed for over 12 years. He has vast experience of over 37 years in field of detailed engineering and design of Industrial Units and some of his projects include Hindustan Organic Chemical Limited (both Kochi and Patalganga Unit), Ranbaxy Baddi Unit, Chemical Complex of Reliance industries at Hazira, Continuous Polymerisation plant of Indo-Ram, JBF Industries, Bhilosa Textile, Garden Varelli etc.
